Sarah Gallenstein, Business Service Coordinator, and Dena Green, WIOA Career Counselor, participated in Career Day for Bracken County High School on March 11, 2022.
Sarah and Dena spoke to three different classes about the services offered through the Kentucky Career Center. They spoke of next steps after high school, career opportunities, and options related to furthering their education. Dena also shared the opportunities offered through the WIOA training services, as well as post-high school advice and more importantly, honesty about their options.
College isn’t necessarily the only option to succeed. Important opportunities through trade schools, apprenticeship opportunities, and internships were highlighted and valued as well.
